this was my cooking hating mothers pride and joy. The ingredients date it for sure. Late 50s – 60s. Don’t know how long they made this stuff before mom finagled the recipe out of the Chef at Akron City Club .. It was a well loved signature dish there & don’t know how she got this recipe. Don’t let the ingredients make ya go ewww .It’s a wonderful flavor explosion in your mouth. A touch of sweet n heat and a hidden creaminess. Capers were my addition. been having a cancer craving for this and had not had it in 35 years. Making it and thinking ” will it be what I remember? ” YUP. YUM.!!!
